November 2010 - With a team of (Honours) students we arranged the whole concept and implementation on location for the entrance experience of the TEDxYouth Amsterdam event in 2010. In collaboration with Almende we made possible that visitors could build their own interactive TEDx Youth logo.

TEDx Youth's head of experience Yahay Alabdeli about the installation:
"The experience team showed everyone that they could make it with a very tiny limited budget. I can easy say that we made a remarks for this kind of events by changing the entrance and the registration manner from that people just check in and get a simple paper ticket to a whole experience that energized and inspired the guests."

June 2010 - The I-Lab (Innovation Lab) is part of the Honours Programme at the Rotterdam University. Students can sign up in order to join a more complex project with an interdisciplinairy team. The goal of I-Lab Heijplaat was to improve the quality of life in the Heijplaat area in Rotterdam in 20 weeks. This was a difficult assignment, because our team consisted of 40 people. As a representative of part of the group (10 to 20 people) I held contact with Woonbron, our client, and translated results, changes to both parties. I also hosted a workshop (image below) to create one vision, respect and fun among our big team.

The end results were varying per team, but my team created "Inzicht in/ Heijplaat" (translated "Insights on/ Heijplaat", see image above). It's a dynamic map to gather all kinds of information about the area: new renovations, traffic, population, twitter posts and everything else. It was received very well at Woonbron.
